Every third Sunday of November, thousands of runners conquer the Dutch hills around Nijmegen during the NN Zevenheuvelenloop.
On Saturday evening before the big race, 7.000 runners go out in the dark to enjoy the magic lights, music and 7 kilometer long challenging course. On Sunday, the world's fastest athletes line up together with 25.000 others, to run in the beautiful Dutch autumn colors. In 2019 Joshua Cheptegei set a world record over 15 km of 41.05, and in 2020 Letesenbet Gidey ran the fastest time ever for women in 44.19.
